I'm sure my game development journey is what you are here for. Cool gifs and exciting pictures. Well today are getting a dull paragraph or two of me telling you about my computer issues!
When my computer crashed, it would render my entire system frozen. You can't move the mouse, the screens display whatever it is that was on it when it froze, and the computer just stays fully powered as if it is still running normally. This freezing has occurred constantly over the past few months.
Installing A New OS
After about three months of this absurd computer nonsense I got rid of my Windows 7 OS. I usually re-install Windows at least once a year as I collect viruses and other crap over time. So I grabbed myself a fresh copy of Windows 10, wiped my SSD, and started anew.
Now We Are Here
At first the crashing had stopped. After about a week on my new OS I installed a GTX 650 as a secondary GPU so I could support four monitors instead of a measly three. I know that sounds absolutely ridiculous but I like nice things ok! :P
Today I wiped my OS again and upon crashing I actually got an error message. It appears that there was an issue with the GTX 650 that I had installed. Since I removed it my computer hasn't crashed but it also has only been about an hour since I removed it. Assuming everything stops crashing, Rock God Tycoon will move forward even faster!
