Hello everyone! It's been quite some time since I've posted a blog update but I figure after a month without a post everyone is probably wondering if we died or something. Well we are more than alive and have just been quite busy working on Project Explore.
Our co-programmer has hard at work developing the multiplayer. He is doing all the networking himself and not to mention doing it amazingly well. We are making sure that once the multiplayer releases, it is fun to play and at least a little bit polished. I don't believe in handing out a half-kept promise. We promised multiplayer. We're going to deliver some really good multiplayer.
I myself have been pushing tons of content and bug fixes every few days. Speaking of which, I've officially left my job Sears and have began my work as a full time game developer. I'm very happy with everything in my life right now and it's definitely reflecting on my work. Project Explore has been growing exponentially faster since I've started keeping it as my one and only focus.
I got a musician to write us a few tracks for Project Explore and they came out great. I've implemented them and am just waiting to hear from the community about them. I think people will like it though. I did obviously. They fit the cute/free feeling that Project Explore creates.
In other news we moved to Oregon. Yes, that's right, we finally made it out of Hawaii. After only 2 years of being on the verge of homeless and starving we have moved on. Now we are nearly starving but far from homeless. I want to personally thank everyone who has supported me through the past few years. So many of you told me to pursue my dreams and do whatever it takes. It brings tears to my eyes to think about just how many people told me to reach my goal. And it wasn't as simple as just doing it. I was in a hole and hundreds of people donated and provided morale support to me. I realized just how amazing you all are. So thank you from the bottom of my heart. I owe you all. I will deliver on my promise to create an amazing game.
