Despite my insatiable need for procrastination I've managed to put together more parts of the towns.
You'll notice that compared to the first GIF (the one above this text) that the second GIF (the one beneath this text) has a few more fine touches.
I was very excited to utilize my new custom interaction system. It allows me to create one-off scripts for any unique interactions I want. It also meshes well GMS 2's room editor which is an added bonus. The potential this system provides is inspiring and I'm really glad I put the necessary scripts together for it.
I've finally set aside my laziness and made time to begin implementing combat. It uses a dandy hand system that creates what I'd consider fluid animations.
Of course this combat won't be enforced ingame but it will be made optional in case you feel the need to personally slaughter everyone on the enemy ship.
