Those of you who saw me streaming a few days ago saw that I was putting in a bunch of non-sense code for about 2 hours. Well, after that, I put in a few more hours. I was working on the multiplayer. Here is where we got to. Que the visuals!
As you can see above, there are 4 players. Well, the system I've written allows for infinitely many players, however, due to the speed of our current compiler, we can only really reach about 6 players.
Right now the multiplayer allows you to host a game, join a game, and run around in a single region of the world. Not very exciting for you, but for me, that's a lot of progress. The character animations are synced between players and collisions work for the most part. I'm going to start working on a 2 player co-op version right now. See you guys soon!
