A while ago one of the more active users of Project Explore, SirLagsalott suggested that I add readable books. At the time mods were not even an idea yet and so I passed the idea along to the garbage bin. A lot has changed since then and now mods are a huge part of Project Explore so I have been reconsidering old ideas. I recalled his idea and thought to myself, "Readable books sound awesome!"

Like any item in the game, it can be added within any included item files. The particular parameters available for the book item are shown below:
As for the text seen within the book, you are able to write each page which allows a bit more control over formatting. Below is an example text file for the book:
I spent all of today completely overhauling my twitch stream. I want to pursue streaming once again and realize that if I don't put in extraordinary amounts of effort, there will be no gains.
As you can see, I've got an all new overlay and have put plenty of detail into it. On top of that, those little BMO's dance on the right side.
I've also setup a coin system to reward users who stick through the stream and hang out afterwards. Here is a link to that page: http://www.seabassandgazellestudios.com/stream-rewards.html
We are now beta testing the character creation screen. It has been three months and we feel like it is pretty polished at this point. Of course we'll be adding more in terms of content but the system is laid out and ready for you to get your sweaty hands on it. This isn't a demo so don't look at this as a final product. Panos and I just want to hear what you think of the character creation.

The current build is only for Windows 7 or later.
In this beta you will be able to create your character. There are about 768 different items to choose from so there is plenty of variety. Leave a comment with a link to a picture of your character, no matter how disturbing!
