It took SOOOOO long to finish this but it is complete now. Items can be crafted and it works 100% with the mod system.
For maximum compatibility I set up rescaling for the text tool-tip.
You'll see that "Deconstruction Table" fits nicely on the screen.
This means you can add items with 30 characters if you want and the game won't look terrible, and broken.
If you are a Game Maker user than you will immediately see the issue. At the moment I use a different object for each world object.
It is going to take a while but I want to set up object archetypes that can be modded. For example a storage object archetype. The texture, shape, and storage space could be customized by mod developers.
This would also reduce the size of the project for me making it more manageable.
