You may notice that there was not an update today. The truth is that I'm on vacation right now. I have family visiting and so I've been away from my computer a LOT over the past 3 days. (っ- ‸ – ς)
I've managed to get some work done in the meantime!
I added a new ai, the powerful but slow bear. I added bear meat. I made rocks and metals more rare. I've added a backpack which gives you additional storage slots. Just today I implemented a script for smooth camera movement which means the camera feels less 'stuck' on the player.
I spent some time during a live stream and started doing some concept art for the new inventory system.
I want to set up a tab system for items. Click on the house and a list of construction related items drop down. Click on the apple and a list of food related items drop down. Organization is key especially once there is a ridiculous amount of items in the game.
The smooth light transitions during the time cycle was something I was holding off on for now because it is not of utter importance, but I've set up a system for it and just have to finish implementing it. I'd say it is 25% complete as of now.
I plan to update Project Explore to version 0.1.1.6 in a few days but with a lot of new features such as the new inventory system. Forgive me for making you wait but if there isn't a massive difference between 0.1.1.5 and 0.1.1.6 then I'll feel like a failure. Especially after the last 2 updates which were minor changes.
